  • Brooklyn Film Camera 855 Grand Street Brooklyn, NY USA (map)

Experience the magic of making photos using only a box with a tiny hole, and develop them on the spot without a darkroom! Register for one or more of 4 sessions offered at Brooklyn Film Camera on Saturday May 10th and Sunday May 11th.

Learn how to use a Pinsta pinhole camera and experience the wonder of seeing your images come to life using only a box with a tiny hole - no darkroom required! The Pinsta camera captures the charm of lo-fi and instant photography, turning each shot into a handcrafted memory and giving you a direct connection to the magic of analog. You’ll leave with one-of-a-kind photos and skills to kick-start your Pinsta journey.

The simple-yet-elegant Pinsta has gained a cult following among photographers and other creatives around the world. This lens-less 4x5 camera and darkroom is handmade by a small team in the UK, combining the simplicity of early photography with the ease of on-the-spot developing.

  • No experience required.

  • You’ll go home carrying one or more impressive, analog 4x5 inch photographs.

  • All materials for use during class (cameras, dark bags, photographic paper, developing solutions, syringes) included in registration fee. Just bring your sense of curiosity and dress for the weather!
